Seahorse Arts is the website of the Taoist Cultural Arts Association. Our Association of clubs teach the Lee style of Taoist Arts as taught by Professor Chee Soo including T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Feng Shou Kung Fu, Anmo Health and Massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We hold evening classes and weekend training courses for our students and teachers on a regular basis, beginners are always welcome. The Lee style is based on Taoist philosophy.

Taoist philosophy has been a central influence on Eastern culture since before historical records began. It has always been a practical method based upon learning from Nature unlike western philosophical systems of debate of abstract philosophical ideas and concepts. Even though it has been popular since ancient times it is as relevant today as it was then as a down to earth way for ordinary people to improve their lives and deal with the stresses imposed by modern society and living and working in an urban environment.
The Lee style is one of the oldest forms of Taoist Cultural Arts which can be traced back to a series of exercises originally practised in Ancient China. It was brought to the west in the 1930's and it still preserves the traditional Taoist methods from before the modern age.
The Taoist Cultural Arts Association was established to preserve the essence of the Lee style Taoist Arts in it's purest form as a traditional style without any additions of Western philosophy, materialism, or extraneous material from other sources. We are based in the Midlands UK and originate from the classes Chee Soo established here to train the group of teachers who were to become his successors. We are the only Association in the world today still teaching the authentic and complete range of the Lee style Taoist Arts and following exactly the same syllabus and standards as handed down in person by Professor Chee Soo through the generations of Taoist masters before him. The TCAA also publishes the authentic range of Lee style original training manuals written by Chee Soo.

The programme of Taoist Arts classes & courses on our syllabus include:
- T'ai Chi Ch'uan
- T'ai Chi traditional weapons forms including staff and sword
- Anmo or Taoist energy meridian massage including basic theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and diagnosis
- Chang Ming or Taoist natural dietary therapy
- Feng Shou Kung Fu
