T'ai Chi Easter Course 2012

10am - 4pm each day

£30 per day or £150 for the full week. (Accommodation £110 for the week.)

The Easter Course is a week long residential course in Cornwall which is suitable for both beginners and more advanced students. This course is an ideal opportunity to go into the various aspects of the Art in more depth. Also you will find that most of our advanced students and teachers will be attending this course so it's a good way to benefit from their experience as there is a high ratio of teachers to students. That means that there's plenty of high quality help on hand to give you the kind of guided personal development that you need as an individual. Plus there's also a chance to train with many of the students from around the country who are at your own level and share information and training tips they you have picked up along the way at your local class. And of course it's a great opportunity to get to know the other members of the group in a relaxed environment free from external distractions. Many of you will find familiar faces from your own local regions but there's also a chance to meet new people. Finally you can be assessed - if you wish -by the senior teachers, which is a great way to pin-point the areas you need to work on when you get back home.

Bookings

The accommodation will be limited in numbers so please book early to avoid disappointment. We will only be accepting bookings for accommodation for the entire week and this will be from 4.30pm Saturday 31st March to Saturday 7th 11am April 2012 , the price will be £110 per week for each person if required (7 nights).

(Self-catering: there's a 24 hour Tesco's supermarket in Penzance on the A30)

We need to know who is coming as soon as possible to book the rooms etc. Log onto the ORB bulletin board before you leave to find out directions to where you are staying. We have plenty of double rooms left but single rooms are in short supply now so please let us know if you are prepared to share. If you want to book your own accommodation please let us know and we can provide you with a list of local caravan and camping sites and holiday cottages.

Travel arrangements

By Car

Head south on the M5 to Exeter then A30 to Penzance and stay on the A30 to St Just (see map below). Some people will be offering or requesting lifts, contact the bulletin board for details closer to the time you're thinking of leaving.

By Train

It might be an idea to consider travelling by train, if you book tickets early enough you can find fares as low as ten pounds from the Midlands to Penzance station return. Penzance Station, then Taxi or Bus to Grumbla. Buses are operated by Sunset Coaches tel.: 01736 810 428, traveline.org.uk

By Aircraft

You can fly Ryan Air ryanair.com from Stanstead to Newquay for as little as £20. You can also fly to Newquay from different destinations with airsouthwest.co.uk or bmibaby.com.
